"8 years of pokemon and memories deleted by little brother"

Today i found out my little brother has deleted my pokemon X save file and has started a new one. My whole journey of 8 years was in that one game. I transfered my every single pokemon from Platinum, SS, White and White 2 to X. Pokemon has been my passion since i first got Platinum for my birthday present and it's so so crushing to see a completely new save with just 2 hours of playtime has replaced my old save which had 22 boxes full of memories.I didn't even understand how obsessed i was with this game until i collapsed on my bed and started crying. "It's just a game" they say. Yeah. A game full of memories and dedication. I remember when me and my friends gathered to a nearby park just to play pokemon. Those pokemon-related things just somehow happened to stay in my brain to this day out of all of my childhood.Those deleted boxes had everything. Every legendary from every game, my maingame teams from those games, my first ever shinies...The more i write the more i start thinking that why am i writing this and why am i making this such a big thing. It's just a game designed for kids afterall right?But still. Some have plushies or teddy bears to remind about their childhood. Well i have pokemon. On bonus i also wasted too many hours on those games. And poof all gone...If you read this through, thank you so much.
