"Anyone somewhat dissapointed in the latest announcement, please read this."

#PokemonGO: So ever since the game was released things went downhill, we lost the tracker and started losing features and not much was done about it. Then we got the buddy system which was an idea that was started by members of this community. Then let's get on to Halloween, we started finding more ghost types and certain spooky pokemon as well as some neat bonuses and we also saw the introduction of streaks. So it was the first major addition to this game and that was considered something good by the community. The game fell silent after that, then in Thanksgiving we got double stardust and candy for a short while as well as ditto as a permanent addition which was also something new and now makes us want to catch almost every pokemon ESPECIALLY the crappy ones. This is around the time when gen 2 pokemons names began appearing in the files and everyone assumed it was placeholders for what would be a long time away.Then, two or three weeks later mass transferring happened and the new tracker went worldwide, another instance where Niantic listened to us. However even though that was technically the only new things added and the data miners did the usual and looked through the game files. Then they found traces of gen 2 which was probably started a month prior almost complete, this included shinies, costumers, avatar customization and other amazing new features in the files. Days later we get the Christmas event which adds a holiday pikachu and raichu for us to catch, all they asked for in return was to send pictures of where we found that. But aswell from that we got the first batch of gen 2 pokemon, although these are egg exclusive they confirmed more were on the way. We got 5 or 6 new pokemon AND WE COMPLAINED!! That's how promising this game is becoming, we almost expected nothing to now the biggest update so far becoming disappointing which is a good thing because we started expecting alot more from Niantic who I bet worked their asses off for this.Now even though the new pokemon are egg exclusive it gives us more of a reason to open eggs, I always thought eggs were kind of useless because you could find the same pokemon out in the world (although eggs were still exciting to open and there are still good pokemon from them). We now have eggs as something to rely on and even if you have one incubator and it's freezing cold rn for you (weather is nice for me lol). Bad weather doesn't last forever and eventually you can hatch your eggs and try to get them, plus it may be easier when hopefully breeding gets released and other gen 2 pokemon are coming as well.Plus shinies have been seen in the code and will give us more than our share of hunting (when hopefully they get released)while we wait for new features to be added and even without shiny hunting (good luck if you are hunting for shiny ditto) you still have your Dex to complete and alot more to do. Let's not forget about legendaries, etc.I guess what I'm trying to say is, the game is getting better and better and Niantic are doing more and listening to us. This game has gotten more promising and we have so much more than we started with.
