"Catching a Pokemon on the second bounce."

#PokemonGO: Today I was catching a Pidgey at very close range and waiting for his attack to end before I threw the ball. I released it just a fraction too soon and it hit him on the head just before the ring returned. It did the usual 'you have failed' bounce, but then something I haven't seen before happened. Because the range was so close and the toss so soft, the ball didn't bounce off and go another direction. It came right back down and hit him a second time, this time after the ring had returned, and it counted as a catch.I'm not sure how useful this information is, but it appears you can catch a Pokemon on a second bounce if the first hit made contact but did not count as a catch and the second hit also makes contact. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2g6kE2e
