"I have avoided complaining about this game since launch, but I just have to say that this tracker is absolutely garbabe."

#PokemonGO: I went to a popular spot out by a lake that me and my friend like to play at, since we wanted to try the new tracker. This is a nice spot for water pokemon and Poliwag's, Magikarp's and Slowpoke's constantly spawn out there. The old "nearby" system wasn't too bad because we pinpointed where the pokemon spawned around the lake, and if a Poliwag or Magikarp popped up on the nearby, we had a general idea of where to look.So we go out there and I pull up the new "tracker" Pidgey, Pidgey, Spearow, Rattata.. "Hmm, okay. It must be a bad time of the day for spawns."Nope.We walk around a little bit and encounter a Poliwag, a Staryu and some other less common pokemon that weren't even on the nearby anymore.Fucking genius, Niantic. I would much rather prefer the old "nearby" system because it at least picked up all the pokemon within your area, and I guarantee it would have picked up the Poliwag that the new one didn't.The new tracker page wasn't even filled up, so it's not like there wasn't room for the Poliwag, and they were giving priority to the pidgey's and spearow's. It literally just wan't showing up.This tracking system is an absolute botch. Niantic, please give the players an option to switch back to the old system. What the fuck are you thinking, can you even give a game viable updates?Oh, and on our way back home I pull up the "nearby" beside a pokestop to find a page populated with Pidgey's and Rattata's, and a Bulbasaur spawned damn near right beside me.Sure am glad that we'll be able to track Pidgey's halfway to Mordor but won't be able to see nearby Pokemon in the next yard over anymore. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2fGzCMk
