"Person prestiging a 52,000 gym...why?"

#PokemonGO: I just saw a person prestiging a 50,000 level 10 Mystic gym. I initially thought a person was attacking the gym so I walked towards it. When I saw the gym wasn't going down in prestige, yet looked like it was being attacked, I noticed one guy playing. I never asked why he would be prestiging a level 10 gym...anyone else see something like this and why this person was doing this? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2fSXCvZ
