"Snorlax Biome"

#PokemonGO: I've read alot about Snorlax just being random but I'm not sure that's correct. Reason being that my area spawns them quite frequently. I've caught 26 now and counting, including two today. One night I caught 5 while walking off a 10k egg in my neighborhood. Meanwhile I've never seen a Lapras, the hitmons, Aerodactyl, etc. in the wild. I've only ever caught one chancey.I live in Jacksonville, FL by a river with no mountains in a grass/water biome that spawns oddishes, poliwags, Bellsprouts, nidorans, bulbasaurs and magikarps in addition to the standard birds, rats and bugs. Almost no fire, electric or rock pokes.I waited a few months to post this to be sure it wasn't just RNG. The sample size seems large enough now that I feel confident that he's the primary rare spawn in our area. Either that or Niantic is being nice to us because we have to root for the jaguars.Anyway just thought I would mention it for folks still hunting one down. Curious to hear from folks in similar biomes. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2iFr4T2
