"Don't throw the ball fast to throw far."

#PokemonGO: So I was in the midst of catching a Dragonite just now, which I was unsuccessful as it ran after a free throws, but I learned that throwing the ball faster does NOT make it go farther.There is definitely a sweet spot for speed when maximizing distance and it's a moderate speed throw. Hard to explain but test it out, throw really slow then work up towards really quick. You'll see your distance drop off eventually via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2iKG9ni
