"Has anyone had any success against serious botters? Account seller bots farming coins?"

#PokemonGO: Our little town just got hit last night in a co-ordinated spoof/bot attack. Never seen anything like it. Bubbling up gyms in minutes and then instantly dumping 8 Snorlax in before kicking bubblers out. The 4 gyms in town went to 4 level 10 all-snorlax gyms in.. however long it takes to bubble 4 gyms with 2 bubblers.. not long. Vaguely Chinese sort of names, a level 40, a level 39 then a range of levels. Clearly not local accounts. Local players on that team (Valor) locked out too.I harassed, killed a bubbler gym, countered while they were building but when they realised what was happening the errored me out and instead of leaving the gym empty while bubbling they dumped the Snorlax in during so I couldn't get the clearing bonus and beat them down.Anyway I can't beat 10 multi-spoofer accounts insta-stacking gyms with 10 Snorlax.We are planning group take down and blocking strategies (let local valor build large blocking gyms for a bit) but has anyone else seen this and had some success?I'm assuming reporting won't make a difference because Im assuming these accounts are for sale and they don't care about selling reported accounts as Niantic takes forever to do anything about that and they'll have their $5 or whatever by then. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2ipBBRS
