"I'm a vindictive Instinct player..."
#PokemonGO: My wife and I work at a museum that happens to be a gym. Our area has a fairly competitive Instinct group, but we're still vastly outnumbered by Mystic, and pretty steeply by Valor. The gym at our job is also in the competitive downtown area. For further context, we also have a child at home, so we usually don't have much time for trying to take multiple gyms - about 95% of our collections are one gym at a time. Some days when we're busy at work, we can't even manage that.So we've decided to make things a little more difficult for our blue and red rivals here. Over the holiday break, Mystic got comfortable and kept a Level 10 gym up while we were away. And they keep trying to reinstate it. So instead of taking over the gym every time, we take it once, cash in, and leave it. If more Instincts show up, then we'll prestige it and send out a call for help to the group, but if it's just us, we let it stay red or blue and just knock it down to level 1.This means that if they want to build it, they need to prestige, which is slower than just taking it from us, considering the automatic 1-2-3 leveling for newly-acquired gyms. It also means they have to prestige against their highest defender, so more items used.Like I said, vindictive. This is our gym, and if you want it, you have to work for it. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2k5B20D
