If you transfer over a surfing Pikachu and evolve it into an Alolan Raichu, it will become an illegal pokemon. However if you evolve into a normal Raichu in X/Y Ruby/Sapphire and then transfer it, it will be usable.Pretty lame of Game Freak for missing this. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2kiDlyg
