"[Question] Any known bugs with the dodge system? some anecdotal observations causing headaches"

#PokemonGO: So this is my first time doing a few level 10 gym takedowns in a few weeks, at least since the last patch. I remember how if you dodge, sometimes you'll take the full damage from the ability and then the server kinda "refunds" you the health difference since I guess sometimes it realizes you dodged?Anyway, in the past 2-3 days i've noticed a different thing happening. I'll use an example of using my 1900 Thunder Jolteon against a 2990 Gyarados with bite/dpulse. Typically i'll charge up then wait for the enemy charge move to 1. find out what it is and 2. not eat it while i'm using thunder. I've noticed that in a large majority of the time, almost 80% of the time i'll dodge a move, take the reduced dodge damage, then it'll almost immediately deal the FULL move damage, and then about 2 seconds later it'll refund me that health. The problem with this isn't if i survive, because then I get the health back and everything is okay. Unfortunately when i'm fighting people with 3k dragonites or 3k gyarados and they deal 80% of my health with an un-dodged charge move, my pokemon will die and then it'll start the lovely death loop of your pokemon dying, reviving (but invisible) then switching to another pokemon, then switching back to your first pokemon, all the while you're unable to attack and unless you manually switch it'll keep in this loop until your pokemon ACTUALLY dies.I'm a pretty avid gym battler and I've never seen this before and it's incredibly frustrating coupled with some serious FPS dropping i've been getting which makes dodging even harder. If anyone has experienced this i'd be happy to know so i'm not thinking i'm alone. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2hDU5O5
