#PokemonGO: They do a right jab, similiar to Jiggly's ->B move in Smash Bros series. Jiggly and Venonat are almost equal in size and and shape, so I think they recycled the animation due to efficiency. The same jab is also used by different shaped creatures, like Staryu (and maybe Clefairy).
