"[Discussion]1 month, 237 hatches. Here are some stats."
#PokemonGO: After the Christmas event I went a bit hard on the incubators and decided to do some testing regarding hatches. Here's a Google sheet with all the information gathered this month.I documented the following for every hatch:Date obtained, date hatched and the category.Pokemon, CP, each IV, %IV, stardust and if they were usable or trash. (Column named "Multiple" means there were at least 2 IV combinations so the % could be inaccurate)Chance of obtaining certain distance egg. Worst, average and best IV yields.Minimum, average and maximum stardust obtained from every category, as well as the grand total for January.Chance of obtaining each Pokemon from certain category (based on this test). Here are some interesting things to look at:Most importantly, data for 10km eggs is super inaccurate (chance of hatching a certain Pokemon) since I only got 11 month. I have one left to hatch.I didn't get a single perfect IV Pokemon :( However, I did get 6 with 98% IV: Weedle, Poliwag, Aerodactyl (Best defensive moveset), Paras, Nidoran F and Tentacool. Pretty decent.Didn't hatch a single Charmander, Pikachu (are those still a thing?), Clefairy or Jigglypuff from 2km. Grimer, Drowzee or Porygon from 5km and... well... not a lot of data for 10km.Business trip at another state starting the 18th. Even tho it appears to be the same biome (Same Pokemon spawns and on sightings), hatches changed a lot. Back at home I got tons of Goldeen, Paras, Tentacool, etc. When I traveled, these seemed to appear way less.Aaaaaaand that's it for now. Let me know if you find anything interesting or if you would like to see more stats since I plan on doing this for he entire year... although it might slow down a bit because it got really tiring at the end and obviously there's not much incentive to keep playing at the moment.Hope you enjoyed!EDIT 1: Added filters from distance to "Usable". They don't work tho. Download if you want to filter :DEDIT 2: I didn't know this, but all baby Pokemon make it so their evolved forms don't hatch from eggs anymore. RIP Pikachu, Clefairy, Jigglypuff, Jynx, Magmar and Electabuzz. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2kszqkO
