"[THEOERY] Marshadow is from THE MOON"
I was curious about the newly released Pokemon, Marshadow, and its origins, so naturally I looked at good 'ol Bulbapedia to read more on it. I noticed that it is called the 'Gloomdweller Pokemon" which just sounds a little weird. (URL: http://ift.tt/2mAkbEh ) I put "Gloomdweller" into Google and hit the search button, thinking I wouldn't find anything of significance, to find, probably the last website I thought would come up, Wookieepedia. The description of a Gloom dweller, in Star Wars lore, is quote, "Gloom Dweller was the slang used to describe those inhabitants of the lower-levels of Nar Shaddaa." (URL: http://ift.tt/2mAs0d4) Nar Shaddaa? Marshadow? There was something going on. So I look farther into Nar shadaa on the Wookiepedia website (URL: http://ift.tt/2lV4fiQ) and, it is a MOON of Nal Hutta, filled with thieves... if you look at Marshadow's learnset he learns a new move created especially for him called, Spectral Thief, there may be some correlation there. Nar Shaddaa is also called "Little Coruscant" and kind of like its shadow... dark and reverse. Marshadow's Moon Pokédex entry states, "It lurks in the shadows of others, copying their movements and powers. This Pokémon is craven and cowering." kinda like a the shadow of a person, as Nar Shaddaa is the shadow of Coruscant. So we can equate this to the Earth and the Moon. The Moon being the Earth's shadow, copying its movements and powers, lurking in the shadow of the world. So in Conclusion Marshadow is from the Moon because someone at Gamefreak knows way to much about Star Wars Lore.Thank you for reading, if you have anything to critique or add please leave a comment so we can try to figure out what this weird new Pokémon is...(Also look at the Necrozma is from the Moon Theory that was up here a few months ago URL: http://ift.tt/2mAgheP ) via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2lVkb4H
