"IOS 1.27.4 forced update killing me"

#PokemonGO: Since the forced update I have to restart the game continuously. This is not the blue screen crash.On my usual pokestop loop I anticipate each stop to spin; since the update when I'm approaching a stop I may discover my avatar standing still at the previous stop. I can't spin the new stop, but I can access my Pokémon and I can occasionally "choose" to catch any Pokémon that are on my screen (not consistent). My avatar and the stops remain frozen until I restart the game.It doesn't matter if I'm walking or a passenger in the car (initially I thought it was a harsher version of the speed block). This morning on an hour walk I had to restart my game at least 8 times.In addition, my iPhone battery is draining more quickly & is heating up like a mofo (only Pokémon Go & listening to a podcast running).Is anyone else observing something similar?EDIT: using iPhone 6S with latest update via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2m91Ptp
