"PokemonBox V1.1 - Ranking among your own Pokemon with simulations (Find your best attacker/defender/prestiger and more!)"

#PokemonGO: Hello travelers!I have just updated this spreadsheet with the first major function I'd like it to have. You can find out your overall best attacker/defender/prestiger or against a specific Pokemon! There are many fantastic attacker/defender/prestiger lists on this sub, and I'm not trying to create another analysis on that topic. This spreadsheet is to help answer the question: which one is MY best Pokemon? There is an older version in this post. The V1.1 version can be found here:http://ift.tt/2nbnh61 a copy and try playing with it! I would like to hear your feedback! How to useMain sheet : My Pokemon Box1. The blue areas are required inputs. Input your Pokemon stats into the area under row 11, and then choose whether you are attacking or defending in the cell under "Action". Please also choose "Attack" if prestiging.2. The green areas are optional inputs. In the "Battle Information" area, there are several ways to select the results you would like:if "Opponent" is empty, your Pokemon will fight all Pokemon listed on either the "Defender List" or the "Attacker List" sheet, depending on whether you are attacking or defending (you can edit those two lists as you like, only the "Pokemon No." column is required); if "Opponent" is not empty, your Pokemon will fight that specific opponent;if "Level" is empty, your Pokemon will fight your opponent at three different levels: [your Pokemon's max level, your Pokemon's max level + 3, your Pokemon's max level - 3]; if "Level" is not empty, your Pokemon will fight all opponents of that specific level;if "Quick Move"/"Charge Move" is empty, your Pokemon will fight all opponents with all of their possible quick moves/charge moves (they are also regarded as empty if "Opponent" is empty); if they are not empty, your Pokemon will fight the selected opponent with the selected moveset.3. Click the "Run All Simulations" button to run. Results will be entered into the red cells. It may take several minutes if all the green areas are left empty. You can do other things during that time, and leave the spreadsheet running in your browser. Also you have to authorize Google Sheet Scripts to access this spreadsheet.4. There are three modes implemented: no dodge/dodge all/dodge charge. For each of the dodge mode, the results will be averaged over all simulations.5. How to interpret the output:first, you can click the upward and downward arrows to sort all your Pokemon's information according to that column; (Upward --> Ascending / Downward --> Descending)"Power" is defined the same as what u/paisleymon used in the prestigers posts (it means how many of that defender the attacker can go through without fainting); "Prestige Gain / Power" is the prestige gain in this process divided by power; "Time Efficient Power" is power divided by (time cost%);if you were attacking, sort the two orange columns with descending order to find your best attacker/prestiger; if you were defending, sort with ascending order to find your best defender;sort the "Time Efficient Power" column if you care about time cost.Single Battle Simulator sheetThis sheet contains a battle simulator. It's pretty straightforward, and the results in the previous sheet uses the same simulator.Click the "Run One Battle" to run.Utilities sheetThere is only an IV calculator in here. I modeled it after this site: http://ift.tt/2mdsG7Y has an additional function of telling you how many power-ups you may need to get only one result, if multiple results are given at first.Attacker List/Defender List sheetsAs stated before, you can change these two lists to change the opponents you are fighting when defending/attacking. Only the "Pokemon No." column is needed.ReferencesGym mechanics are based on this post by u/homu : http://ift.tt/2n76JrO stats, movesets' stats, type chart, CPM list and the formulas are all from gamepress: http://ift.tt/2mdlAAk of This SpreadsheetI really would like to make some analysis after seeing so many fantastic posts from this community. But I feel lazy and the everyday paper writing at university is already taking a lot of my stamina. So I think I will just stick to making a tool, or a toy, for those who would be interested, and for myself too.I know many would prefer information that can be read on the phone, or information that conveys quickly. But I also know some of you would play with this thing in your free time at home. Even there are only a dozen of you, I would still like to keep this going.Thank you, and I need feedback, especially complaints about this! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2mxQJ4H
