"Leveling up is not as exciting as it should be"

#PokemonGO: Don't get me wrong, I love this game and play it daily. However I do find that leveling up takes from the fun. When you actually think about it, it becomes very boring to catch the same pokemon for experience when that experience gives you a few potions and pokeballs.I just reached level 26 and was pretty let down by the level up. The Easter event includes double xp, but I'm feeling like that doesn't even matter anymore? Sometimes this demotivates me from playing. It almost seems like leveling up and xp incentives are to grip new players into the game, and to do nothing for higher level players. Considering it took quite a while to level up, they could at least give a rare evolution item or incubators or something.Do you guys care that leveling up only really matters for low levels?
