"My used game haul/what's the best you've gotten?"

A tiny bit of backstory: My (American) DS and I live in Japan. I finally decided to bite the bullet and buy a Japanese 3DS and a bunch of JP Pokemon games because uh, Japanese Pokemon perks? I made sure to go for used as much as I could and left a store with one used 3DS and Pokemons Diamond, SoulSilver, White, Y (the only brand new game), Omega Ruby, and Sun. Except for SoulSilver, I have the opposite English versions so I was super excited to at least have the other half of the sets.Anyway, the important part: what was left on the games?!?!?I set up my new 3DS and popped in Sun first. Previous owner has less than 20 hours play time. Two grand trials complete and eight Z crystals. I fly to the nearest Pokecenter to check out what's in his PC. Standard early in-game stuff. The most exciting thing is that it looks like one of his Pokemon has Pokerus which is impressive considering he's done absolutely zero trading. Oh wait, he levels up every. single. Pokemon. he owns. Every single 'mon has been levelled up to at least 20 and only his team is in the 30s. I might keep one or two Pokemon just because but this game will be restarted very soon. I don't actually know any Japanese so it'll just be easier to restart it and play in a language I CAN read.Okay, first game was meh. Let's try SoulSilver. This game not only came in the case but also in the actual box with Pokewalker. It looks like it's untouched. I wonder if they somehow kept a brand new copy and gave it to me for the used rate? Nope, there's a game saved here after all! Less than 30 hours, 7 badges. No high hopes for this one either. Let's just run to the nearest Pokecenter (aww, I miss buddy Pokemon)...nope, nothing special here. I'll continue plaything through but only because restarting it won't change the language.So far I'm 0 for 2 in exciting game finds. Go go gadget Diamond! ...less than two hours playtime, one badge. I'm not even sure I want to open it up and see. The only Pokemon owned in the entire game are a level 60 Empoleon and a level 6 Starly. I'll give this find half a point because okay, 55 levels up in slightly more than an hour and a half while still in the early game? Dude, I'm impressed.0.5/3 now. This is getting depressing, let's check out Omega Ruby. What's this? 200 hours playtime and all eight badges? Oooh, I might find something nice. Okay, party has a level 100 Gardevoir, lvl 85 shiny Gardevoir, lvl 35 shiny Gallade, two more 'mon not worth mentioning and...what's that?! I've never actually owned this Pokemon before so it took me a second to identify the sprite--Volcanion! This buy is already worth it! I wonder what's in the PC if they're running around with this party? I'm inside Mt Pyre, I'll just exit and surf out...nope, no one knows surf. No one knows fly either. No one can learn either. Google translate informs me that my dad is telling me I can't use an escape rope here and dig isn't working either ohmiGAWD how am I supposed to get out of here should I just black out that's going to take forever my average party level is super high there are no ride Pokemon in this...oh yeah, Eon flute is a thing. I call up my Lati@s and get off the damn mountain. There are a few PC boxes full of standard in-game Pokemon, quite a few at high levels and oh yeah, about half of the available in-game legendaries. There are even a few event Pokemon in there. I'll be farming this particular game to get the rest of the legendaries for trading fodder before restarting!For those of you keeping score at home, I'm sitting at 1.5/4. Last game to check out is White. Oh my, 300 hours in. What goodies await me here? The previous owner helpfully last saved in a Pokecenter so I can check out the PC immediately. A few in-game legendaries, as I would expect from a game this well played. A handful of shinies, unexpected but welcome. It looks like this person might have been trying to get into competitive battling, there are a lot of breedjects here. Nothing above two or three markings though. Speaking of markings, there are a ton that have all six marked. This many random Pokemon with perfect IVs? Really? This game will take a lot of IV checking before I can do anything with it. But still, more legendary trading fodder. And two boxes of mystery eggs! It'll be like Christmas (Easter?)!Ultimately, I give my haul a 2.5/5. I've bought used games in the past and gotten more stuff but those were clearly hacked while all these look legit. Plus now I have access to Japanese events so win/win!
