"I think I created a nest using OSM...has anybody else had success with this?"
#PokemonGO: Hello, TSR! A couple of months ago when the discovery between OSM and spawns was popular, I (like everybody else) went onto OSM and started updating everything I could. There was a park that is about 30 minutes from where I lived with about 9-10 stops that I noticed wasn't listed as a park, so I went ahead and adjusted it.Fast forward to yesterday when I stopped by while running errands to hit a few of the Pokestops there. I noticed when I got there that the area was dark green and it wasn't that way a few months ago when I was last there. Now the biggest thing that I noticed were three Voltorbs on the nearby list. Keep in mind that this area was your typical forest/mountain biome with nothing but Pidgeys, Weedles, Venonats and the occasional something interesting. Here's an image of my edit in OSMI will be going back later today since I wasn't able to finish one of my errands and I will be confirming if it is, in fact, a nest.Sorry if this has already been confirmed or posted before, but I wanted to share this with everybody so that you know that you very well can have success with updating Open Street Map!Thanks for reading, and I hope you all have a great day!TLDR; Park in my area wasn't a nest, updated OSM and a few months later it's now a nest.Edit: I just checked the Nest Atlas and noticed that it has only had reports since mid-February, and everything else in my area has had reports since reporting was possible! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2qYoCia
