"Why Gen III is Going to *Rock* for PoGO"

#PokemonGO: I was enjoying a PoGO walk last night and I started thinking to myself about Gen III. One knock on Gen II is that, while it has tons of my favorite Pokémon, it is only 100 (or 92 at the moment) Pokémon deep. Of those 92, there are very few 3-stage evolution lines. This has meant that they had to make certain Pokémon artificially ultra-rare so as to keep us intrigued and playing for more than just a couple of months.Well, Gen III is going to live up to its numerical insignia. I counted 15 3-stage evolution families on my walk last night and I may have even missed some. These include:Treecko lineTorchic lineMudkip lineTrapinch lineBagon/Salamence lineBeldum/Metagross lineSpheal lineboth Wurmple Lines (I wonder how this branched evolution will work)Seedot lineLotad lineAron lineSlakoth lineWhismur lineRalts lineHelp me out if I missed some! Also there will be some interesting new mechanics to see. These include:The Wurmple branched evolution. In the games, it is simply randomly assigned upon generation of the Wurmple for a wild battle. Is there a value they could easily manipulate for this in PoGO?Slaking. This is a terribly powerful Pokémon stat-wise. In the main series games, this is hampered by its ability which only allows it to attack once every other turn. Will they implement some sort of handicap like this for Slaking in PoGO? Will they hold off on releasing Slakoth? Or will Slaking just be an unholy terror?Nincada evolution and Shedinja. In the main series games, under the proper conditions, when the Bug-Ground Pokémon Nincada evolves, it evolves into Bug-Flying Ninjask as well as the Bug-Ghost Pokémon Shedinja. The first question here is if we will get both evolutions every time. Or will we have to meet some special conditions to get Shedinja? The second and (to me at least) more intriguing questions is, what will they do with Shedinja in PoGO? In the main series games, Shedinja is gimmicky in that it only has 1 single Hit Point (1 HP) but it can only be affected by moves that are supereffective. I am very curious how this will be handled. There are also tons more cool Pokémon not yet mentioned like Cacturne, Altaria, and more. Even Swellow is pretty awesome! What are some of your favorites and what are you excited about? What did I miss?Edit: Aaron -> Aron 2nd Edit: Adding Ralts line and Whismur line.
