"Event phases"

#PokemonGO: Has anyone mapped out the different phases of these events? I haven't paid much attention before, but it seems I've seen four different phases in the Fire and Ice event:Pre-event. I was seeing a greater diversity in pokemon in the days leading up to the event. There was nothing rare, just a much wider range. I'm not sure if this was a coincidence or not.Event release. Lots of spawns, everywhere, and more powerful and rare spawns. I know this phase is well documented, but do we know how many hours it usually lasts?Next 12-24 hours? (approximate) - It's all still fire and ice spawns everywhere, but the number seems to have decreased and the and rare ones are now ... rare. We now know what the common spawns for the event will be.Biome-specific spawns return. Today I walked through downtown Honolulu, and only 30-40% of the spawns were fire and ice. The rattata, pidgey, spinarak and other commons are everywhere again. Not that I'm complaining ... it's easier to earn 1200 cp on a lazy rattata than on the growlithe and ponyta! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2s7gb3V
