"[Idea] Gym badges"

#PokemonGO: I've noticed a lot of idea posts in this sub lately. We're doing that now? Anyways, here's mine.Anyone who has played Ingress knows it has a couple feature that encourage exploration. One, there is a medal for how many unique portals (Pokéstops basically) a player visits. Two, there are missions in the game that, once completed, add a permanent icon to your profile page, a round image that's usually a picture the mission giver took.In Pokémon Go I suggest something similar: Gym Badges for every unique gym you join. It would be a little round badge featuring the image of the gym you got it from. This way, players are encouraged to attack and prestige as many unique gyms as possible, which discourages gym stagnation and encourages exploration of places you've never been.I also think there should be medals for Unique Gyms joined and Unique Pokéstops spinned. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2qBC6NB
