"Pokémon references to Japanese myths!"

Hi everybody!I'm currently working on a smaller research project on how pokémon relate to the real world and especially Japanese myths. For example I found out that Mawile is an interpretation of Futakuchi-onna, an ancient Japanese monster. I haven't found a lot on the topic, so I was wondering whether you guys might know some more examples! Looking forward to your responses!!I'll try to keep an updated list of your suggestions:Froslass -> Yuki-OnnaHydreigon -> Yamata no OrochiMawile -> Futakuchi-OnnaMeowth -> Maneki-NekoNinetales -> KitsuneShiftry -> TenguWhiscash -> Namazu via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2tHBA2s
