"[Theory] "A new update focused on collaborative group gameplay features" ... So, Raids?"

#PokemonGO: You're walking around minding your own business, when you suddenly get a notification: "A nearby raid will start soon".You look around, and there it is: A Gym two blocks away. You have time to spare, so off you go to reach it. While you're still walking, the Gym turns black, and you see Raikou appear on top of it. Just the one you need to have the entire Johto beasts trio. You know you won't make it alone, but fortunately, you're not the only one that wants Raikou: When you arrive to the Gym, there's already a group of four people there. You take your best 6 Pokemon, and fight it as best as you can. When your Dragonite finally runs out of steam, you look at Raikou's hp bar: Between the 5 of you, you've taken down about 30% of it. You leave with a smile, confident that before the raid's time runs out, eventually Raikou will have been defeated. And indeed, three hours later you receive another notification: "A raid has ended in success! you have been awarded a Pokemon as a reward for participating".sigh... a man can dream... via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2r9iQLB
