"Will the gym shutdown be delayed?"

#PokemonGO: Probably most of you know, that the Italian and Chinese version of the June 8th announcement originally contained the information about disabling of gyms occuring on June 16th.ThreadThen there was the following comment."We'll be sure to provide an advanced warning for when Gyms will be unavailable as we draw closer to the update. Also, it may be worth noting that when Gyms are temporarily disabled, all Pokémon will return to their Trainers. Stay tuned for more information!" — /u/NianticIndigoSourceIf there is a warning in advance, it seems a bit last-minute to me. On the other hand, we all experienced issues with Niantic's messages being late. E.g. the current event notification appeared on my phone 17 hours after the event started.
