"If Niantic really cared, they would extend the anniversary event until the end of the week"

#PokemonGO: Even with the Legendaries being released and putting aside the whole Grant Park fiasco, this anniversary event was an abysmal failure. It wasn't even until yesterday that it actually felt like it was an event at all - I'm tired of Pikachus and shitty boxes being their cop out for actually having to give players something substantial in terms of gameplay.The shitty thing is that for people who work a 9-5 office job, yesterday was basically it for all of the rad bonuses and stuff. If Niantic really wanted to smooth things over with players and really wanted to have a good anniversary celebration, they'd extend this event. I have no confidence that they'll do it....Hanke is probably too busy licking his wounds and droning on about how nobody could possibly understand the massive infrastructure the game requires and how hard it is to be a billion dollar company AND to put out a working product...but I just really wish they would do something that actually benefitted the players for more than a damn day. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2usw2K0
