"Meta Reminder: Best Pokemon Aren't Always Most Fun"

#PokemonGO: I read the Silph Road regularly and there is a slight hang up I have here, along with Pokemon and Pokemon Go Youtube. There is a group of people (likely a minority) who forget that Pokemon isn't your usual gamePokemon offers 151, no, 251, no over 800 options. One of the greatest charms and aspects of the game is that there is such a diverse variety that you can make so many unique team, movesets, etc. And yet, there are many who have a mindset that only the absolute best Pokemon matter. There is nothing wrong with preferring only the strongest, however as a community it is important to remember that to many, no Pokemon are 'useless'Not everybody plays Pokemon Crystal with a team of only legendaries. Not everyone wants all the starters on the team. Some people enjoy more of a challenge (I mean, there are Nuzlockes and competitive aspects made just for the sake of making the game more difficult/prevent just the strongest Pokemon from being used)So just keep in mind while you may watch Trainer Tips and get giddy over powering up legendaries so you can destroy everyone with no challenge that there are many who like to use Scizor or Noctowl or Xatu or Murkrow or any other weird Pokemon either because they like them, it presents more of a challenge, or just to shake up the norm and that's perfectly okayI do recognize that this is something that may mean more now, having strong pokemon to combat raids, but it has been on my mind since before the gym shakeup.
