"What reasonable, subtle tweaks to a single under-powered Pokémon would go a long way to make it more competitive?"
What slight but sensible changes to either the Pokémon and/or its moves would give a relatively uncompetitive Pokémon a significant and well-deserved boost? By that I mean the biggest ratio of improvement to drasticness of the change. For me, I think Rapidash should escape its prison of relying on recoil-damage moves. Most of all, I want it to get blaze kick, and I want the accuracy to increase to 95 or 100. You might even bump up the power to 90 or 95 as well. Since it's not a very common move, this won't exactly break the game. There's definitely a hole to be filled by a physical fire move that's even stronger than fire punch/fang and less costly than flare blitz. In addition, I'd like to see Rapidash get high horse power because it makes total sense and would be a decent improvement to drill run. I could even see it getting jump kick like dodrio did, but that's a more drastic change. And finally, I'd welcome a slight increase to attack and/or speed, maybe by 5 or 10. Rapidash could potentially be a decent competitive physical fire type that isn't also a fighting type, as those seem to disproportionately dominate this underpopulated niche group (emboar, infernape, blaziken). Or fire/flying (talonflame, charizard). And it won't be an Arcanine clone, either, which is the last (technically) non-legendary physical fire type that comes immediately to mind.Let's hear some suggestions! via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2su2EQN
