"What if GameFreak implemented a Nuzlocke challenge game mode? Full game mode breakdown and implementation."

First forgive me for my lack of knowledge, I'm been out of the loop since Gen 1 only just grabbing a copy of Sun. My understanding of the game mostly comes from this and a few other reddit/sources.I imagine GF could easily implement a few features to extend the post game.Traditional challenge rules apply for the most part but I imagine the challenge would be launched with either a "new game+" option or the prompt to start a new game from an NPC post end game.Pokemon that faint are locked and automatically sent to the PC and are unable to be used. However in the event the player completes the challenge with the restrictions in place these Pokemon will become available for selection. If started from within the same save file the player will have the option to;i Merge their nuzlocke storage with there current game storage upon completion of the challenge. Items will be merged except for those that are only obtainable once and are found to exist within the base game save file.ii End the challenge anytime by returning to the NPC. In the event the player selects this option no items or Pokemon will be merged with the new save file. They will return to a game state before the interaction with the NPC.iii The NPC should be located in an area that is accessible without any game progression. The rule set would allow for some tweaking, such as the ability to receive gifted Pokemon, self imposed level caps relating to progression (Gyms). These could be presented as questions by the NPC or a menu pre the new game starting. The player would be rewarded a stamp on their trainer card or a small asterisk next to the TID/Card? or/and on any OT PKMNs summary upon completion of the challenge. This will not be retrospective so only those obtained after the challenge would receive the star. Now I have have never done the challenge, I've just read about it here. I understand this will probably never happen, as a large portion of the target audience are young. GF wants to keep things simple. However the population of this game is growing older with it and I imagine a lot like myself have come back to it, trying to find my childhood again :). Point is there is enough competence out there for this to be in place. Also, I've never posted here but lurk a lot, so to the guys who get things done and those that post, thanks. Many hours wasted. Apologies for the formatting, mobile. One more thing; If they do implement it as an NPC event, please keep the name...Oh hey, I remember you! You beat the Elite four huh? Legend tells of a challenge so great only few have completed it. The Nuzlocke. It involves living your memories again, but at a constant disadvantage. Would you be interested in something like that?YES. Old man waves an ancient object. Cue battle music and screen effect. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2tub5AD
