"Deaf Pokémon Go players - share your signs here!"
#PokemonGO: Deaf BSL user here. I've come across absolutely no other d/Deaf Pokémon Go players in the real world so thought I'd have a look here! Most of my (hearing) Pokémon-playing friends sign at least a little bit but we haven't come up with proper signs for most of the Pokémon and tend to just fingerspell, which seems unnecessarily cumbersome. We use the following: lightning from cheeks for Pikachu, fingerspelling E-V for Eevee, A-1 for Articuno, Z-2 for Zapdos, M-3 for Moltres, cat for Mew, cat-2 for Mewtwo, t-dinosaur for Tyrannitar, dragon-night for Dragonite, dragon-air for Dragonair, pigeon for Pidgey, caterpillar for Caterpie, butterfly for Butterfree, worm for Weedle, wasp for Beedrill, bat for Zubat, bigger bat for Golbat, 2-head for Doduo, 3-head for Dodrio, egg for Exeggcute, egg-tree for Exeggutor, again for Ditto, m-sheep for Mareep, pink-cow for Miltank, sleep for Snorlax, and tbh that's about it. I'd love to hear about other people's Pokésigns, whether it's BSL, ASL, ISL, AUSLAN, NZSL, or any other sign language! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2womwHA
