"[Idea] More stardust needs to be tied into gym participation."

#PokemonGO: As somebody who had no problem holding down 7-10 gyms under the old system, I think the new gym system is a good move and makes the gym scene more accessible to everyone. While I have a few small suggestions (50 daily coin cap maybe changed to 350 coin weekly cap, and automatic coin delivery while in gym and not when knocked out) I never understood why they took stardust out as a reward for holding gyms. Now that a greater variety of people can hold gyms, they should be able to farm stardust just as easily as I did before. Making stardust generation harder now (lets face it, the amount of dust you get from stuffing defenders full of berries is laughable) just means that there is a giant gap between what I was able to accomplish with my huge amounts of dust, and what new players NOW will be able to accomplish. This new gym system makes distribution of coins more equitable, but it actually made distribution of dust LESS equitable. Old guys like me were able to accumulate stardust at such a rate that the way gyms are now, newer players could never hope to catch up.Given the diminishing returns on leveling Pokemon past 30+, making stardust more accessible is inherently more beneficial to newer players trying to round out a solid roster than it is to older ones who've already spent lots. via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2uNin1S
