"Lugia disappears August 31st; Exclusive raids to begin thereafter?"
#PokemonGO: http://ift.tt/2uHGoZS"While you await the arrival of Mewtwo, you can use those powerful Pokémon of yours to take on and catch Lugia—and Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres! That's right, those mighty Legendary Kanto Pokémon are sticking around for one more week. Starting today and lasting until August 31, 2017, Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres will be appearing in Raid Battles for Trainers to challenge. August 31 will also be your last opportunity to catch Lugia, for now. Be sure to coordinate with other Trainers and make your move!"Not entirely unexpected, but as far as I know, this is the first confirmation that Lugia raids will end too.The phrasing "While you await the arrival of Mewtwo", as well as the one used in the Pokemon newsletter, "In the meantime...", seems to imply that Exclusive Raids won't start until the end of the current event.Newsletter snip: http://ift.tt/2wb6lBb, it seems like things won't end with Mewtwo. "Mewtwo will be the first of the Exclusive Raid Bosses, but other powerful Pokémon may also begin to appear in raids in the weeks following the launch of the Exclusive Raid Battles." I am pretty sure I've seen the mention of other Pokemon starting to appear soon after Mewtwo elsewhere, but I haven't seen this point discussed much. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2uI2mvB
