"Pokemon Go How to increase performance"

#PokemonGO: First of all this method will improve the performance of the app only if you experience a gpu bottleneck. To check if you have a gpu bottleneck check my other post.http://ift.tt/2tYDdfX you have a cpu bottleneck this method will only improve your performance by 5-10% so if your cpu hits 100% in pokemon go you have to wait for an optimization patch. You have to lower the resolution. I will show you the difference between 1080p and 720p.i.While i am on the map the gpu load is 1080p:30% 720p:13%http://ift.tt/2ueoGbd eggs 1080p:85% 720p:36%http://ift.tt/2tYBGGv the nearby pokemon tab 1080p:94% 720p:42%http://ift.tt/2uemaSf i open my pokemon inventory 1080p:100% 720p:46%http://ift.tt/2tYLSin a 3d pokemon model in inventory 1080p:100%(here i start to lose some fps in 1080p) 720p:82%As you can see there is a huge boost in performance practically 50-60% reduction at GPU usage and the gpu never reaches 100% so the game always runs as smooth as it can get. And you can see that the clock of the gpu is lower meaning that you also save battery. As a bonus you get 5-7% reduction in cpu usage. To change the resolution of an android smartphone follow this guide http://ift.tt/2vfwY6P For the step one of the guide just follow my method because theirs might not work. Download platform tools and extract it. Open the folder hold "shift" and press right click. Choose "Open command window here".Now follow the instructions of the guide starting from step 2.At step 4 before you do anything else write in the command window "adb devices" a message will appear on your phone saying to give access to your pc press ok.Continue with step 4. For an 720p resolution you have to put 720x1280. Also you have to adjust the dpi so everything is scaled to fit in this resolution. In step 4 there are 2 commands. One controls resolution and the other controls dpi.If you write one of this commands without the number at the end it will return the value of the current resolution or dpi.So write down these numbers if you want to revert to the original settings. Also you need the current dpi value to calculate the new one. So if you have a resolution of 1080p and you want to go to 720p the new dpi should be: new_dpi=current_dpi-(current_dpi/3)In many smartphones when you change resolution you lose the functionality of the touch buttons. So if you are in nougat there is an option at the settings to enable digital navigation buttons. On other android versions you have to install an navigation keys app from playstore. On miui you dont lose functionality of the buttons. Remember when you revert back to the original resolution the buttons will work they are not getting broken :P via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2tRnEm7
