"The Weakest Damaging Move Possible in Pokemon"

There is a lot of hype around Shuckle having the most powerful move in the game, I wanted to take that to its opposite extreme, the weakest move in the game. Before any of you say it, Splash is not a damaging move, so don't say that is the weakest move. Also I know that all damage will be rounded up to 1 so all of this is pointless, but the damaging move in the game is capped at the HP bar so I feel justified in doing this. With all of that aside let's get into this.Let's start with the damage formula from Serebii,Damage = ((((2 * Level / 5 + 2) * AttackStat * AttackPower / DefenseStat) / 50) + 2) * STAB * Weakness/Resistance * RandomNumber / 100Now knowing Shuckle has one of the lowest attack stats in the game at 10 base power and a non-STAB move at 1 base power in Return with minimum happiness of course, let's run Shuckle through the formula and see what we get. However before we start calculations I want to make it clear I will not be using Triple Battles due too their abscence in Generation VII, and 10.750.75 from Friend Guard is less than 10.750.5 from Aurora Veil.I will be using a level 1 Shuckle vs a level 100 Lairon due too his Eviolite boost and quad resist to Normal. The setup is as follows -6 0- Atk burned Shuckle Return(1 Base Power) vs. +6 252+ Def Eviolite Fur Coat Lairon through Reflect with an ally's Friend Guard with an ally's Aurora Veil on a minimum roll.((((2×1/5+2)×(4×0.25×0.5)×1÷(416×1.5×2×4))÷50+2)×0.5×0.75×0.5×0.25×0.85=0.07968769155I bet I can beat that.((((2×8/5+2)×(11×0.25)×4÷(372×1.5×4))÷50+2)×0.5×0.75×0.5×0.5×1.5×0.125×0.85=0.02989047064The formula above is a level 8 Squirtle using Water Spout vs a level 100 Palkia. The setup is as follows -6 0- SpA Squirtle Water Spout (4 BP) vs. +6 252+ SpD Assault Vest Multiscale Palkia (+ Grass Type) in Sun through Light Screen with an ally's Friend Guard with an ally's Aurora Veil on a minimum roll. The reason for using a level 8 Squirtle and not a level 1 is Squirtle's HP stat. At level 1 Squirtle has too few HP for it to have enough HP for a 1 base power Water Spout, and the move is more powerful as a result. Heck, even level 8 Squirtle still only has a 4 base power Water Spout. The lowest level you can have a 1 base power Water Spout at is 24 which still beats Shuckle oddly enough. The main reason this beat Shuckle was not the base power of Water Spout but rather Forest's Curse giving Palkia an octo resist to Water type moves and Sunny Day weakening Water type moves even further. In the end stats and even base power don't matter all that much when calculating weak moves just how many negative modifiers you can stack against it.If I have missed anything and you want to help me or you want to prove you are right and I am wrong, feel free to point out anything down below.TLDR: The weakest move in the game is a level 8 Squirtle using Water Spout vs a level 100 Palkia that has Forest's Curse used on it. via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2wjZzFg
