"Influx of 10km eggs?"

#PokemonGO: I'm wondering if anyone else has noticed this or if I've just hit a spot of strange luck. Generally speaking I pretty rarely get 10km eggs, yet since this event with special 2k eggs to collect began... I've received them almost exclusively. I had all 5k and 2k when the event began!
