I'm level 37 and in my trainer career I soloed four different tier 3 bosses (Machamp, Vaporeon, Arcanine, Gengar).While for someone the easiest to beat is Machamp, in my opinion the first you should try if you want to solo a tier 3 for the first time is vaporeon. This morning I tried something different and managed to solo an hydropump Vaporeon with only 4 grass type and all different pokemon. My opinion is that the only thing you need is solar beam.If you are a solo player and you want to start soloing lvl.3 raids, if you can find 2-3 lvl. 30 exeggcute in the wild and evolve them into solar beam exeggcutor, you have the perfect team. Eventually, you can do exeggcutor raids for some time and find some with good IVs and moveset.Also, a Solar Beam from Vileplume (or Victrebeel) is pretty devastating, take it into cosideration.Electric is nice, but grass works better! via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2xVxwO2
