"[Theory] Regional Legendary Raids are a sting operation to catch spoofers."

#PokemonGO: With all the excitement right out of the gate to catch 'em all, could it be that the regional rotation is a clever ploy to catch spoofers? The date/time/location data from each catch will be forever in the account, and at some point, it would be easy to run a script to search for accounts that caught all three on the first day. It is certainly possible to be travelling on release day, and to have had perfectly timed layovers, but I would speculate that that would be fewer than 100 players worldwide. Fingers crossed? via /r/pokemongo http://ift.tt/2vQOKK8
