"This to look forward to in the Diamond and Pearl Remakes."

Recently in this thread, there were discussions the eventual Diamond and Pearl Remakes. However, some lower upvoted comments caught my eye, stating Gen IV doesnt need a remake. Although I responded to one, I felt a bigger post was needed to explain all the AWESOME STUFF they could do with this behemoth of a Generation. And so here it is.General Tweaks and ImprovementsThe age of the games is definitely starting to show. A few quality of life improvements would be essential to these games, including:TM's becoming reusable (People would do half runs of this game just for another earthquake TM)Menus being more user friendly (Oh god the scrolling)Connection to Pokemon Bank (Practically a given but thought it deserved a mention.)UndergroundHonestly? I could just leave this blank, as half of you will just see that word and your minds would go crazy.Fully 3D underground.Psudeo Secret bases again.The fun Mining Mini game. Seriously. A more fleshed out version of that game would be amazing.Fully online Underground. Join a server with 5-10 different people, discover bases, make friends.Mega Evolutions And Z MovesI'll admit, although only 5 of the current Megas are Gen IV, in this aspect it's only barely smaller than Gen II and more than the last 3 gens combined, but just because its a Gen 4 remake, doesn't mean other Gens can't still be added. In either case, heres a list of Gen IV Pokemon that would love a new lease on life.Starters. Obviously.Luxuray (Get That Dark Type Fool)SpiritombToxicroak and DrapionHippowdonVespiqueenGastrodonBronzong and SkunktankAs for Z Moves? We could get the ones from Sun and Moon, but it'd be nice to get Specific Moves for the starters, and then some for the OP Pokemon, perhaps as a supplemental to the ones with Mega Forms, that could provide an alternative. Honestly Z moves are cool, just a little hard to come up with ideas for them. Maybe a Glacial Ice Slide for Empoleon? I don't know. Just give us something so it doesn't feel like a wasted gimmick.Also some update to the Legendaries. In either Origin Forms or something else entirely.GraphicsGen IV was not a bad looker. Some claim it as the first 3D game, mostly because many buildings and assets were 3D. But in actuality, it was designed first and foremost as a 2D game, to keep the feel of what was considered a Pokemon game, and to make it more expansive. So a true jump to 3D would be amazing. Imagine Mt Coronet standing above the whole region, the many ports in Canalave and bridges in Sunnyshore. Environmentally friendliness was really picking up steam in the games at this point. The Deep Dark Caves of Coronet should be foreboding as they we're in the originals. And with the power of the switch could make it feel even bigger than before!PacingIf I'm honest, I actually don't mind the pacing of the original games at all. Slow, and methodical, but it fit with the theme of the games. It's probably the biggest criticism of that Gen, but I think it fit it nicely. I'd still prefer a similar pace, but combat should definitely be sped up. And maybe some areas should be streamlined, or made more clear. I'd also enjoy if they kept the difficulty about the same, (It was also considered a good casual game, , via this interview with Mr. Ishihara, so I might be upsetting folks here) which for me, felt about right for me, even with Experience Share on one Pokemon. Just...dont keep adding NPCs to heal you after every cave. Beating it is its own reward. Just lemme push on through.MusicThe music in the Originals was amazing. They're often drove a line between mysterious and bad ass. And its a shame we haven't gotten a remix of some of the greats.Giritinas Battle MusicAzelf, Uxie, and Mespirits theme.All the Routes. No joke.And a personal favorite of mine...Cynthias ThemeThe range of the music is really great this gen, and Im sure the remixes of these classics will be great.
