"Why do people actually want trading?"

#PokemonGO: How will it actually improve the dynamic of the game? Getting a Pokémon through trading is not as satisfying as going out and catching it yourself. It creates even more of a reason to not go out and try to catch anything.Edit: so a lot of people are saying "regionals" as the main reason.. Wouldn't you be just as satisfied if they started to swap regional Pokémon areas as they plan to do with the legendary dogs? I feel any of the other reasons about getting better IVs or more of rare Pokémon will just be exploited and then after minutes of trading, you'd have your dex finished and then what.
