"Why PvP?"

#PokemonGO: I am not trolling at all here but generally curious. I read through and even in raid people talking about wanting PvP and some believe it the perfect end game.I agree PvP is a great in game in most games. The problem I see is pokemon go battle system would create a joke of a PvP game. I think most claiming the want it next would leave shortly after getting it.On top of that the game already had battle lag when just dealing with a battle with npc. You add in the sets of have to communicate with another phone through the server that seems like it would lead to more frustration.Why do people who want PvP in the game in the current state?
