#PokemonGO: One gym in every 10 square miles or whatever turns into a Battle Tower. At the Battle Tower there are 5 tiers:Little cup: Pokémon like Pidgey, Pichu, Tyrogue, Bulbasaur, etcMiddle cup: Pokemon like Pidgeotto, Pikachu, Clefairy, Bayleef, etcUnderused: Pokémon like Raticate, Golbat, Parasect, Shuckle, etcOverused: Pokémon like Zapdos, Golem, Snorlax, Blissey, etcUbers: Pokémon like Lugia, Ho-oh, Mewtwo, Mew, etcPokémon from a lower tier can be used in a higher tier but not vice versa. At the Battle Tower you can enter 4 different levels in each of the 5 tiers:Level 10Level 20Level 30Level 40Just like with the tiers you can use a Pokémon at a lower level, but not at a higher level. All the opponents Pokémon will be at these exact levels with 100% IVs. You get more rewards at higher levels but the same across each tier.You get 3 Pokémon only and your Pokémon get healed in between each Battle.
