"Could Niantic be A/B testing the drop sizes?"

#PokemonGO: I know some people have been posting they're still receiving fewer items from pokestops. Could Niantic be A/B testing drop sizes to see how people react in terms of revenue or playing time? It's unclear to me whether having more or fewer balls and items would affect revenue... are you more likely to buy balls if you have fewer of them, or are you more likely to play more if you have an abundance of balls (and buy other things like raid passes and incubators)?Edit: I originally thought I was getting more balls than usual, but it was the visual glitch here: http://ift.tt/2gchKXA. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2igrILD
