"What is necessary for a Solo Arcanine attempt?"
#PokemonGO: Hey, so I've been tracking the way people solo T3 on the road, and wanted to try it myself. Despite 5 attempts, however, I was unable to defeat Arcanine, even when Pokrbattler said I should be able to. All my attempts got it just past the point where the bar slims down. I use a Samsung Galaxy S5 Active.Attempt 0:checked moveset, backed out when Wild charge hit Vaporeon.Attempt 1:Some amount of dodging, mostly to get extra stone edges. Started with 177s.Attempt 2:Two dodges, started with 178s. Tried rearranging Golems for better effect.Attempt 3:swapped to a Time to Win team, as my 6th Pokémon wasn't even a factor, and I needed to win faster. Dodged a ton with Vaporeon, quit at 80s and still green.Attempt 4:One dodge with Vaporeon, two Hydro Pumps. 177s.Attempt 5:No dodging, Arcanine snarled until the third Hydro Pump, so Vaporeon survived to three Hydro Pumps., then died afterwards. 177s, with the raid ending 3s early.Attempt 1 and Two:Golem@30 15/12/7 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem@28 12/0/11 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem@30.5 14/5/14 Rock Throw/Rock BlastGolem@30 15/15/7 Rock Throw/Rock BlastGolem@30 15/15/2 Rock Throw/Rock BlastAttempts 3, 4, and 5:Vaporeon@30 8/5/11Golem@30 15/12/7 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem@28 12/0/11 Rock Throw/Stone EdgeGolem@30.5 14/5/14 Rock Throw/Rock BlastGolem@30 15/15/7 Rock Throw/Rock BlastAdvice? Or do I just need to wait until 33 for the Rock Throw breakpoint to be available? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2xngQ5n
