"Etiquette concerning smoking and asthmatics/small children at raids"
#PokemonGO: I have asthma. It isn't much fun. When I'm having an attack, my windpipe closes up and I'm gasping for air and I can't talk. I have a rescue inhaler, which works, but I shake all over after I use it. The shaking gradually subsides but it might be 7-8 minutes before my hands finally stop twitching. How does your area handle smoking/vaping/ecig at raids? Several of the trainers in my area smoke or vape. It's pretty unusual for us to get through a raid without somebody lighting up, especially if we're waiting on a trainer to show up.This is an issue. Smoke triggers me, but since most of our raids are outdoors, it isn't like these people are breaking the law by smoking. I don't want to come across as snobby or entitled if I ask people not to smoke around me; I don't want to be that "difficult" trainer at raids. I also don't want to be seen as rude by standing off to the side, or staying in my car with the windows rolled up, to avoid the smoke. What do you think I should do? I searched Silph Road reddit and couldn't find anything about etiquette concerning the mix of smokers and asthmatics/young kids at raids, but surely I am not the only trainer with this concern. (I do apologize if this issue has already been discussed on TSR, sometimes the search bar is less than optimal haha)Thanks in advance!! Any insight is deeply appreciated, this issue has resulted in multiple awkward situations via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2hpD9AW
