"Why can't Niantic just keep these increased 'mon spawns?"

#PokemonGO: It doesn't cost them anything to keep lots of pokemon spawning, and if anything it only motivates more catching and more ball usage (and possibly more ball buying). I do see the counter argument that having this increased spawn all the time will diminish the value of it, but at the same time, Niantic should be implementing other things to get us hyped about the game, like quests or challenges.Edit: How would you guys feel about having increased spawns on just the weekends?
