#PokemonGO: I noticed a large empty area on my in-game map last week and I decided to check out why it was empty and what that empty area was marked as on OSM. Turns out that that area is a military housing complex and its marked as "Military Barracks" on OSM which could be why that data isnt appearing in-game. We know that Governments can request to have their private locations removed from Pokemon GO and that could have translated to OSM data as well. I just wanted to share this just in case you might have also noticed a large empty area in your city/neighborhood, this could be the reason. via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2jcoUwH
