"Its time we finally addressed this expensive Mewtwo lottery system (hear me out)"

#PokemonGO: Call it whatever you want but you cannot deny that this Mewtwo EX Raid system is a blatant lottery system and I find it downright disrespectful to the most loyal and active playerbase, heck to the entire playerbase including the causal players who may also have been playing since launch day. Its a shame that Niantic is using the most anticipated Pokemon since the launch of Pokemon GO to milk its playerbase through an EX Raid system that requires active raiding in in hopes to one day receive an invite to have one shot at battling Mewtwo. What's even worse is that we are not even guaranteed to catch it. In other words, spend more and more money on Premium Passes in hopes to one day receive your invite because you have no clue when that day will finally come.Niantic, there is nothing rewarding about this lottery system at all. It doesnt matter how you put it or justify it, it will always be a lottery system until something drastically changes. I stopped trying once I finally realized that all the money I have been spending on Premium Raid passes just wasnt worth it anymore hoping to receive my first invite after 4+ months of waiting. It just didnt make any sense to me anymore.Niantic could have released Mewtwo in numerous different ways that could actually have felt rewarding (eg. Daily/Weekly Quests, Global Challenges) but they decided to go the route that would yield the most revenue from its playerbase. I get that Niantic is a business and are in it to make money but at some point, as a business, you have to thank your playerbase for the continued support but this is definitely not the way, at least not in my point of view.Think about it this way. The time has come for the annual Christmas party at your job but this year, your boss decided to make it an invitation only party and those who have received an invitation can attend. To make it more "fair" your boss will also put everyone's invitation card in a lottery ball machine and those who's invitation cards were selected by the machine can only attend. Your invitation card was not selected so your boss tells you "Sorry bud, better luck at next year's Christmas party invite" a long with a number of your other co-workers.This is exactly how this lottery system feels and I hope Niantic realizes that too and that this system is not working at all. With that said, im hoping Niantic finally makes some serious changes to the Mewtwo invite system that would actually make it seem rewarding and less of a lottery system.
