"What are your favorite Gen 1-only learnset moves?"

In case you weren't aware, many Pokémon have moves in their Gen 1 learnset that can not be learned in future generations. This most typically comes from TMs. Now that you can transfer Pokémon from the virtual console versions of Red, Blue, and Yellow to Sun and Moon, this opens up a lot of possibilities.Probably my favorite thing to do personally is to see how many different Pokémon can be taught Bubblebeam (or Water Gun) and you might be surprised. My favorites are Nidoking, Mewtwo, Articuno, and Dragonite. While most aren't really super practical, it's really a cool way to make your Pokémon unique.My other favorite is Lapras learning Solar Beam. This is the only way to teach Lapras a grass type move which could allow you to surprise an opponent with a Grassium-Z or pair it with a Sunny Day Pokémon.Anyone else experiment with the Gen 1 TMs at all? via /r/pokemon http://ift.tt/2oU7SV7
