"[Observation] EX Raids Place Game Completion In The Hands Of Niantic"

#PokemonGO: Something I realized as I caught my last non-regional mon was that EX raids actually prevent players from accomplishing the one completed (arguably) goal of this game: to fill out the pokedex.Since EX raid passes are only obtained via Niantic's random assignment (even if you do everything to be the best potential candidate), game completion is locked behind a will-we-or-wont-we barrier. This is very unlike regionals, where even they could be obtained by a determined player, though still out of reach for many.Additionally, since legendaries cannot be placed in gyms or found in the wild, players will not even have "seen" Mewtwo in their dex unless they have been invited to an EX raid.Essentially this takes control of game completion away from the player in places it into the hands of Niantic, and thus prevents players from completing the one aspect of the game that was fundamentally sound.Thoughts? via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2BJ4Olq
