"Pokemon Go: the 2017 recap"

#PokemonGO: 2017 for pokemon go.Good stuff:gen 2gen 3 (half release)gym reworkraids/premium rewards (tms and such)legendary pokemonweatherfun eventslvl 40 bug was fixed, ( other bugs ans glitches were fixed as well )more spawn points, pokestops and gyms added in urban, suburban , and in some rural areasBad stuff:game still crashes every now and thencheaters are stronger than ever and dominate gyms (account selling is still alive and profitable for some )randomization of ex-pass distributionmonths of silence from nianticControversial:motivation decay rates are now much faster in comparison to the initial decay ratesexclusive passes distributed to low level accounts in the last few wavesgame mechanics seems to be tailored to further reduce the power gap between dedicated players and casual/low lvl playersPersonal conclusions:Niantic delivered and gave us new content which is a good thing for a game that was very light on features when it was released, now the game give us trainers much more things to do and specially the weather system encourage us to go outside and catch pokemon, the days of only ratatta and pidgey are gone now thanks to the introduction of weather spawns, raids gave us a reason to power up pokemon (attackers), and the new gym system destroyed the crippling gym stagnation (and the 10 blissey gyms) we faced long ago. Pokemon go have evolved and now it is a much better game in my opinion, im hopeful that we will continue to get more new content and deeper mechanics that will make this game more interesting. 2017 was good enough, and ill be thankful if 2018 brings the same or more features and content.Personal wish for 2018: Abilities, natures, held items, stat overhaul, and a more strategical combat system :)Happy holidays to you all travelers via /r/TheSilphRoad http://ift.tt/2pAInx1
